the problem i had was on an actual workpiece. then i tried to find out the problem and posted the ogf. maybe i did a mistake there, but the problem remains with the short line, with z below zero..

sorry for the late answer, i was on holidays. i am using the newest version. the file is right, i just tested it again, in my autoleveller it works. it is just one 5mm long line with a ramp in and out. but the z height is the same on the 5mm long path although the z heights in the probe file are dif...

no autolevel function on 5mm long lines in y direction
hello, i am engraving stainless steel handles 10mm wide 140mm long. these are not very straight and therefor i use the autoleveller software. however i ran into a problem with 5mm long lines along the y axis (x axis is the 140mm long side of the handle). the handles are not level in the y direction....

thanks for your suggestion.
i was trying the ae version and installed java8 on windows7, the offline version. however i do not get the programm to run, even though i tried the cmd.
attached the error message from the console.
the .exe also does not work.
any idea?

hi james, i use the normal autoleveller and i know how to use it. i did already do quite a bit of work with it. i was wondering why the software cannot calculate the x y dimensions with very simular geometry and the same cam and postprocessor. in some cases it works and some cases not. i dont find t...

by the way, if this would not be possible, can autoleveler also handle code with an a axis in the gcode?
