Maybey it isn't Autoleveller but the Gcode? I am going to try the testPCB from Github and EAGLE DXF export and not PCB-Gcode.

This got me thinking. The biggest change in 0.7.7 is the increase in resolution (i.e. the number of decimal places has increased). This largely affected the output of the program when inches are used and I am assuming you were using inches as your problem is now fixed.

The problem is that, for both inches and millimeters the same number of decimal places are used and since a millimeter is a much smaller unit than an inch you should need more decimal places for an inch to get the same resolution as you would for a millimeter. For example, 0.5 of a millimeter is much smaller than 0.5 of an inch.

Therefore with AutoLeveller 0.7.7 users using millimeters should experience a higher resolution than the inch users. I thought the decimal places were enough for both units but, I shall investigate and fix as necessary in the next update.

I need to investigate the 'inch' thing anyway but many people use inch units without a problem as far as I know.

I am having the same problem.

running leveller 7.7 from linux java.
Every time, in the same spot I got air lines.

Already tried lower feed rate, fixing, increse resolution, decrease.. Any suggestions?

What method are you using to hold down the piece?

DS tape seems to be the cause of a lot of air-cuts unless the tape is free of kinks, evenly applied and strong.

Many people have success with vacuum tables or a good clamping system. The important thing is to remove any chance of movement between probing and etching.

I know the fixture problems.

I use bolts tightened with clamps and I am sure it does not move.

I used the same position in the bed, with the same parameters with PCBZCorret with sucess

I checked and it happens always in the same place in the board.

In the middle, it should go down, but it goes up, and in the top, it goes really deep.
I have a small deflecting and thats why I noticed the invertion...

I haven't saw autoleveller code, but it clearly seems to be inverting. Instead of going up, it is going down, and the opposite is the same...

Is there a way for me to send some log, pictures to help?!

The later version has a higher precision but I suspect this might be an issue with inches. If possible, try your design in millimeter mode and check it works.

I shall investigate this as a priority tomorrow anyway.

I was thinking about becoming a member but I was not sure if would work correctly.

I'm from Brazil, and my eagle, pcbgcode, linuxcnc are all in mm!

Checked that too...
