Hello,
Has anyone gotten AutolevelerAE to work correctly with UCCNC?
I've edited the custom cnc controller, but after the probing routing the spindle just hangs at Z 10 all the time.
Greetings,
Emile

Re: Autoleveller AE 0.8.5
Just a picture of the finest details I just got. In person it looks better than on the picture.
I'ts on the limit of the spindle runout and tool runout, I had to use some fine sandpaper to clean some of the rough edges.

Re: Autoleveller AE 0.8.5
Hello James,
I just tried the custom controller option in the new version.
It worked great! I used the below settings, and that worked correctly on my XHC MACH3 IV USB controller. (CNC3020USB/CNC6040USB)
Thanks!

Emile

Hello,
I've had good results with contacting the guy that wrote the firmware in the past. ( Chao from XHC )
A few years back I had a problem with pecked drilling, and a few days later I got a fixed firmware from him.

AKG,
If you're 6040Z S80 1,5 kW uses the NcUsbPod.dll driver, which I think it does. Then maybe my post ''Aircuts on Mach3 USB NcUsbPod" provides a work around for some of the problems. (my usb controller box is from a 6040Z)

Re: Aircuts on Mach3
I've made some progress and cut my first pcb with AutolevellerAE.
Changes in the AL output file:
Replace both of the G92 Z0 entries with G52 Z0, with G92 the controller won't move the Z lower than Z0.
After each G31 command add call to macro routine M2002. (Got that idea from gskular on cnczone ...

Re: Aircuts on Mach3
Hello,
My mach3 controller seems to ignore the Z-1 part of the G31 Z-1 F100 probe command, it stops when it reaches Z0 and goes to the next point, only when the level is positive, it triggers the probe correctly.
Strange because I use the probe a lot with tool changes and there it functions ...

Re: File open history bug
Hello Art,
Yes that also works as a work around. I fixed it by recreating the directory I just deleted.
Thanks,
Emile

Aircuts on Mach3 USB NcUsbPod
Hello,
I'm currently having problems with aircuts (Z 280mm) with AutolevellerAE v0.8.4 where Autoleveller 0.7.7 works without a problem with the same setup.
I've generated a probe set:
